ENSURING YOUR DOG'S JOINT SAFETY & HEALTH IN A DOG DAYCARE
When dogs attend daycare, they often play hard and have a lot of fun. That fun can sometimes translate to some physical effects on dogs ranging in severity from going home tired (many fall asleep in the car on their way home) to more serious issues like leg and joint pain. Dog daycares take these issues seriously and take preventative measures to make sure your dog’s visit is successful in both keeping them entertained and engaged as well as healthy and happy. Flooring plays a big role - especially in larger dogs as they pounce around. If they’re on hard concrete floors, this can wreak havoc on their joints. At Good Dog, we have thick rubber mats in Big Country (where our big dogs play). Watch the video below to learn more.
