OPEN IN MAY? WHAT'S THAT LIKE?
It occurred to us that May 2021 will be the first time since we took over this business that we’ll be open during the month of May. How odd is that?
In 2018, the business’ former incarnation was open, but we took over in June of that year.
In 2019, we closed the California Avenue location on April 30 with the hopes of being open on Delridge Way within two to four weeks… foolish as that sounds now, we were trying to be optimistic about our build-out. We were closed all of May and June 2019.
In 2020, COVID, of course, which meant that we closed on March 26 and didn’t reopen until June!
So, we’re excited to see what happens during the month of May. We’re seeing more reservations for boarding which means that people are hitting the road again and your dogs are staying at Good Dog. It may not seem like a big deal, but considering we thought we were going to have to close at the beginning of 2021, we’re excited to have the opportunity to see what May has in store for us!
