WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN A COMPETITOR TROLLS YOUR FACEBOOK FANS?
Updated: Apr 15, 2021
What do you do with a competitor trolls your Facebook fans? The short answer is, shrug your shoulders and hope that after this is all over you’re both still around to remain competitors.
A couple of days ago, we started getting notifications from friends that they were receiving friend requests from a competitor whose personal page was about their business. Some even included the responses that they sent after receiving the request.

The reality is, there are more dogs than children in Seattle, which means there’s enough of a marketplace for all of us to operate. Our interpretation of essential business did not include our services. So, we made the difficult decision to shut down during the Stay At Home order. The competitor who is trolling our fans interpreted things differently and is remaining open. While we feel that the decision of theirs is not wise, we’re only responsible for our own decision. We feel confident that once this all passes, we will still be around, and our clients will come back. We believe in what we’re doing and feel confident that we made the right decision to close temporarily to aid in the longevity of Good Dog.
