WHAT’S IN OUR DOG TREATS?
If you are anything like us, you only want to give your pup treats that are made with the best ingredients. You want to keep your dog happy and healthy, and we do, too! Here’s a quick look at the ingredients we use in our treats.
Wheat Flour. The wheat flour we use in some of our dog treats comes from Shepherd’s Grain. All of their farmers use sustainable and regenerative harvesting processes, which means pesticides are not used on the wheat before it’s harvested. That means you can rest easy knowing your pup isn’t ingesting any harmful chemicals.
Chicken Broth. Chicken broth contains collagen that is great for your pup’s bones, joints, and coat. It also contains the amino acid glycine, which can boost your dog’s overall liver and kidney health.
Pumpkin Seeds. Pumpkin seeds are a great source of protein for your pup. They also contain the amino acid cucurbitacin, which helps eliminate worms from the digestive tract. Pumpkin seeds can even reduce any inflammation that might be present in your dog’s joints.
Bacon. Bacon is a flavorful, high-fat protein. We use this ingredient sparingly, but we just can’t help but give the pups that bacony goodness they love. We use just enough to add flavor without sacrificing the healthy qualities of our treats.

Carrots. If your pup has digestion issues, carrots might be the answer! They’re great digestion aids since they are high in fiber, and they are low in fat and calories. Plus, carrots contain Vitamin A and Beta-Carotene, both of which promote healthy eyes, skin, and coats.
Rice. We use rice in our gluten-free treats for pups with gluten intolerances and sensitivities. This is a filling, starchy ingredient that will satisfy your dog without upsetting their stomach.
Molasses. Molasses is a natural sweetener that can help your dog properly digest fats and proteins. It can also help alleviate inflamed joints and other symptoms of arthritis. Plus, it’s just plain yummy!
Oats. Oats are great for pups because they’re a soluble fiber, meaning they promote healthy digestion. They are also high in protein, and most dogs need a diet that’s pretty high in protein for optimal health.
Peanut Butter. Like we mentioned before, it’s important for most dogs to have lots of protein in their diets. We use peanut butter in some of our treats because it’s a low-fat protein and it’s delicious.

Carob. Carob is a superfood that contains fiber and pectin that both help with your pup’s digestion and eliminate toxins. It’s chock-full of vitamins, too. Carob contains as much Vitamin B1 as asparagus or strawberries, and it contains even more Vitamin A than eggplant, asparagus, and beets.
Ground Flaxseed. Ground flaxseed is full of omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for keeping your dog’s coat shiny and healthy. It also contains fiber to help with digestion and protein to both support your pet’s immune system health and boost their energy levels.
Unsweetened Applesauce. We use unsweetened applesauce in all of our treats because it’s an excellent source of Vitamins A and C. It’s also a great source of fiber for your pup and their digestion.
P.S. All of our treats are completely preservative-free, so you can feel good knowing you’re giving your pup a healthy, delicious snack!
